The Hopper® Cooler, with its welded DryHide™ double-TPU Shell, thick ColdCell™ Insulation, and MagShield Access top provide serious cold-holding power. But due to all of the variables that affect ice retention, and because every adventure is different, we believe it might be misleading to make specific claims about how long a cooler will hold ice.

Just like the Tundra® Cooler, the Hopper® Cooler is designed to keep ice colder longer, but there are many variables that can affect your ice. This includes the temperature of the cooler when being loaded, ice quality, ice quantity, type of ice (crushed, block, cube), outside environment, exposure to direct sunlight, etc. We suggest cooling your cooler down by “sacrificing” a bag of ice in your cooler before putting in a second bag with your refreshments.

Nope, not a good idea. Hopper® Coolers are not compatible with dry ice. Using dry ice will cause the airtight vessel to explode.

WARNING: Do not leave your soft cooler open in the presence of children or animals. Entrapment and suffocation can occur. Do not machine wash. Do not dry in an oven or clothes dryer. Do not use bleach.

Regularly clean after (every) use with fresh water to clear any debris such as sand, dirt, etc., from the zipper. After cleaning, apply a bit of zipper lubricant to keep things moving and prevent damage. Just open the zipper and apply a thin layer of lubricant to the front and back surfaces of the U-dock and adjoining teeth. Wipe away any excess lubricant. Open and close the zipper to make sure everything is working well and do not ever force the zipper if it feels stuck. Remember to store closed in a dry, safe place and avoid crushing or folding to keep your zipper in the best shape possible.
