What Does Submersible Mean?

Submersible means no water will get in when properly closed. In fact, we've tested this to IPX7 ––a global industry rating. That means when zipped, the contents inside of the bag are protected against water immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of one meter.

How Do I Ensure It's Properly Closed?

Close the zipper completely by sliding it fully into the U-Dock™ and apply pressure. Listen for any air that might have broken the seal. If you hear or notice any air leaks, make sure the zipper is fully closed and then test again.

What accessories are compatible with this backpack?

The Panga® 28L Waterproof Backpack can be paired with the SideKick Dry® Gear Case and all Rambler® Bottle Slings.

How tough are these bags?

The ThickSkin™ Shell material, EVA moulded bottom, MetalLock™ Hardware, reinforced QuickGrab™ Lash Points, and HydroLok™ Zipper are all extensively tested and proven to be highly durable.

Is the waterproof bag a cooler?

No. The Panga® Waterproof Backpack is not a cooler and has no insulating properties. If you need a cooler that carries as a backpack, check out our Hopper® M20 Soft Cooler.

What should I pack in my waterproof backpack?

Use it for spare clothes, electronics, ammunition, fishing licenses, sunscreen, and any other gear you want protected from the elements but available while on the move.
